Terms and Conditions

• No refunds for accommodation cancellations, please contact entries@thegoat.co.nz if you need to cancel.  Alternatively, accommodation booking can be transferred to another date where there is availability, or for another person designated by the purchaser.
• Entry components of the package will be subject to the terms set out in the 2025 Goat Event Withdraw Policy.

After Your Package Purchase…
Once you have completed your registration for the packages, we will connect you with the Powderhorn reception via email to lock in the best room for you!  While these packages are for two nights (Friday 17th & Saturday 18th January 2025), additional nights can be booked or additional people added to the room where there’s availability.

The 2025 Goat Tongariro Individual Entry Includes:

• Choice of a Goat Tongariro Finisher Medal or plant a tree in the Tongariro National Park. Also, option to do both i.e., receiving a medal and donating a tree ($10).
• Choice of your own complimentary Goat Tongariro photo from your selection of photos taken by our official photographers on the course and at the finish line.
• Complimentary finish line treats including choice of a beer, cider, fruit juice or soft drink accompanied by a barbequed goat sausage in a fresh bun with condiments (gluten free and vegetarian options also available).
• Complimentary entry to the Goat After Party with DJ, Live Band & Special Dress Theme at the Powderhorn from 8.30pm on Saturday 18 January 2025.

Minimum Age
Goat entrants must be 16yrs or older to enter. If you are under 16yrs old your parent/guardian will need to email entries@thegoat.co.nz and detail your running experience and give permission for a special dispensation to be considered.

The 2025 Kid Tongariro Individual Entry Includes:

• Kid Tongariro Finisher Medal or plant a tree in the Tongariro National Park. Also, option to do both i.e., receiving a medal and donating a tree ($10).
• Complimentary edible finish line treats for every Kid finisher.

Please be aware that The Kid Tongariro supporters who are supporting a 9 year old and under entrant DO NOT need to register. There is ONE support person permitted per 9-year-old and under entrant. If you WILL have a supporter running in ‘The Kid’ please note this in the ‘notes’ section of your ‘Kid’ entry when registering.
