The event I want to enter is sold out. Is there a waiting list?
Please email entries@thegoat.co.nz to register your interest should additional entries come available.

Is there an age limit for The Goat and The Kid events? 
Goat entrants must be 16yrs or older to enter. If you are under 16yrs old your parent/guardian will need to email entries@thegoat.co.nz and detail your running experience and give permission for a special dispensation to be considered.
The Kid is open to 5-16yr olds.

What is your cancellation policy?

What is a thermal/survival bag?
It is similar to an emergency blanket but bigger so you can put your whole body into it. CLICK HERE to see an example of one

What start wave am I in?
Starting waves will be located XX days out from the event and you will be emailed your wave details. After this date you can log in to your EventPlus profile https://eventplus.net/GOT23 to check your wave.

I need to change my start wave. How do I apply for a new wave?

How do I book a bus ticket?
If you require a bus ticket you can simply log in to your Event Plus profile (https://eventplus.net/GOT24), click on ‘Event Add Ons’, select which bus option you require, then ‘add to order’. Simply pay for your order and you’re all booked in!

How long is the run?
The nature of the mountainous terrain with its ascent, descent, twists, and turns is measured at approximately 20km.
